Help and advice

  1. Data is encrypted by HTTPS before being transferred to and from the Standards Library over the internet. The HTTPS protocol is used when sensitive data is transmitted and meets the generally accepted security requirements . In the unlikely event that the encryption in the protocol is cracked by a hacker, Faster Payments Scheme Limited (“FPS”) accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage suffered.
  2. FPS confirms that all of the recommendations on preventing conventional attacks that it considers reasonably necessary have been implemented with the utmost care.
  3. It may be necessary from time to time for the website to go offline for maintenance. Necessary downtime of more than one hour shall be announced by email at least three days in advance.
